DESCRIPTION:This class will introduce the students to each other and to the coaching staff. All age groups will attend the class together and will be introduced to what will be in store as the class unfolds. SUMMARY:Full Day Winter Camp at Beaufort MMA
DESCRIPTION:This holiday season\, we are happy to offer a special winter camp for elementary and middle school aged children in Beaufort\, SC. This full day camp will last 2 weeks (10 days) and provide children with several classes per day along with free time\, projects\, and entertainment. \nWe understand that many families take time during the holidays to travel or vacation\, but some families are left trying to find childcare for one or two weeks only. Our camp is a great alternative to a day care provider but the focus is specific to martial arts. If you have children between the ages of 6 and 15 and are looking for a safe and fun environment for them\, please consider signing them up for our winter camp. \nWinter Martial Arts Camp Dates \nThis camp will meet from 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday for the week preceding Christmas (December 19-23) and following Christmas (December 26-30). Parents or guardians must drop students off no earlier than 8am and must walk their children into the gym and make sure they are signed in before leaving. Parents are expected to pick their children up by 5pm. Picking up your child after that time may result in an additional fee unless they have a regularly scheduled martial arts class that evening. \nDay Camp Activities \nOur daily itinerary will include cardio vascular training in the morning where students will get their metabolism started followed by stretching exercises and active game time.  After game time\, the children will have time to discuss important martial arts topics including bully prevention\, self-defense\, showing respect\, the importance of self-control\, and covering other character traits. Parents are responsible for packing a lunch each day\, but we will have the option of a $5 pizza lunch on each Friday. After lunch\, there will be time for entertainment\, projects\, and game time and a martial arts class. Following martial arts class\, they will have a follow up question and answer on the discussion from the morning before having some structured fun activities until dismissal. \nCost for Winter Day Camp \nYou can choose to enroll your child in individual days of the camp or get a discounted rate when you purchase the entire week. If you enroll your child in both weeks\, you will get another discount. The current daily rate is $30 per day or $125 for the week. If you enroll in both weeks\, the cost will be $200 for both weeks. \nFamilies with multiple children will pay $25 per day each or $100 per week.
