Tonight, we worked on the arm drag into a Russian arm tie. Then we used a common defense to set up a #doubleleg takedown. This takedown is effective from the clinch and can work just as well in the #gi or in #nogi #grappling. There are many other takedown options from the #Russian, but this particular variation is one of the best options when your opponent tries to escape the position.This particular technique was taught to me by former Iowa wrestler @dukeoursler and I have used it for years since.
