Deep Half Guard Seminar with Andrew Smith

Join Beaufort MMA Saturday, January 23rd as we host a seminar with decorated competitor and BJJ Black Belt, Andrew Smith. The topic of the seminar will focus on the Deep Half Guard with a look at several leg lock transitions from the Deep Half position. This will be a gi seminar, but all experience levels are invited to attend.
About the Instructor:
Andrew Smith is a second degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, a judo black belt, and co-owner of Revolution BJJ. Andrew is sought after for his instruction, and frequently travels to teach jiu jitsu seminars. Andrew has learned through “trials by fire” what works and what doesn’t in competition, with over 300 grappling competition wins including: three 2008 Pan American Jiu-Jitsu Championship Gold medals at brown belt, masters (along with silver in 2003 and bronze in 2004) and 5 Virginia State Judo Championship gold medals, as well as several super fight titles. Andrew is also a 20X US Grappling champion.
Seminar Details:
The seminar will take place Saturday, January 23rd from 11am-2pm EST at Beaufort MMA in Beaufort, SC. The seminar will cost $50 when you pre-register for the event or $60 at the door, so please register as soon as you can.

This seminar will also include mid-term promotions for Beaufort MMA students in the BJJ program that missed the last promotion or were not yet ready to pick up rank at that time. All Beaufort MMA students are highly encouraged to attend this seminar as it will give you a new outlook from a very skilled instructor.
